Have you ever read the fable The Gingerbread man and the Hare? I guess not because last week we were lucky enough to watch a live show by The Playhouse Theatre of the The Hare and the Tortoise with a twist of The Gingerbread man. The Story all started of with a Narrator and she said there is going to be a race. The Hare and The Gingerbread man were the contestants. Ready set go and they off with the gingerbread man in the lead. Run run as fast as you can you can't catch me I am the Gingerbread man was the Chant for the gingerbread man. Oma Hare Oma Hare was the chant for the Hare. Everybody was yelling there chants and The Hare had a unexpected win. The the Tortoise came along a wanted to race the Hare. So they had a race the Gingerbread man tried to make the hare loose. Go the race began and the Hare was in front. But then the Hare got tired and sat down then fell asleep. So the tortoise won. But I am sure the Hare was happy for the Tortoise inside!
