Hi I am Beth, I am going to tell you about one of my favourite things to do at maths time. Math Boards. Math Boards are a way to show different strategies for 1 question. Some ways we have to explain are write a word problem, do a visual solution, solve it numerically and solve it another way.
Here is an example of a Math Board:
That one was the first one I ever did so it is quite simple.

Thank you for reading my Blog.
Have you ever done a math board at your school?
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.

Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you described how to do a maths board and what a maths board is. Next time you could do a better entrance into your story.

Thanks Jimi
DeleteI will try to do a better entrance next time.
