Magnificent Museum trip!

On Monday the 16th of September Tumu hub was lucky enough to the Museum
of Canterbury. First Our hub had a safety briefing because safety comes first.
Then we split off into our homebases. My homebase went to the classroom
out the back.
I honestly did not think it was going to be that fun…. But it was AWESOME!!
First we learnt about the Maori survived.
Then we got to have a turn at using the equipment that they made.
My favorite was the drilling.
The drilling was kind of like a spinning top that had string it was hard to get
the hang of at the start.
There were a lot more things but that was our favourite.
Next we went into the Museum and learn about the Maori things.
Then we went and had morning tea and had a play around outside.
After We had a bit of free time around the museum then sadly we had to leave.
It was an awesome day where we learnt a lot and had so much fun!

What is your favourite thing to do at the Museum?

  1. Hi Beth, The Mueseum looked very fun. I have been to the mueseum with you and the rest of the hub. My faveroute thing to do was the classroom because they had so many fun activities. I hope to see more posts like this one.
