Lockdown at my house

Hi guys I hope you are well, welcome back to my blog.

Today I will be talking to you about what I do in Lockdown. The mornings are usually the same everyday, I get up at 9:30 and watch Netflix till about 10:30, then I have breakfast which is usually a Bagel or a smoothie. After that I get dressed and play a board game or do a puzzle. My favourite board game is the Game of Life. After that we sometimes do some baking. The other day I made cheese and date scones, chewy chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate chip banana cake.

Around 1pm we have lunch, we often have sandwiches or the baking we did. After lunch I do online dancing. My dance teachers run it on Zoom which is an online video call app. I cast it to my TV and follow the teacher. I really enjoy doing it. Today I am dancing for about 3 hours. I have Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.  Here is a photo of me dancing:

After that I go on a walk with my mum. There is an activity in my neighborhood were people put teddy bears inside their window and you can walk around and look for them so I have been dong that. Here is a picture of my teddy in my window:

When I get home I do some work and play outside with my brother if it is a nice day. After we watch a family movie and have dinner. Then I hop into bed at about 9:30 and watch YouTube or read a book till 10:30ish.
I hope you are safe at home.
What have you been doing at home to keep busy?

  1. HI Bethany - great first post on the Blog Hop! Wow dancing for three hours is a long time and must mean you are very fit. Isn't technology wonderful that we can still do some of things we normally do even if we are in lockdown.

I have done some yoga watching youtube and also on zoom with my sister who is in another house - it was pretty cool. Also I have walked, biked and done a bit of work.

What book are your reading at the moment?

    PS. Your baking sounds amazing!
