Communication

Hello and welcome back to my blog. (I don't know why I didn't post this) We have been focusing on the 6 c's I have done two other blog posts on creativity and collaboration. Today I will be sharing with you what we have been doing for communication. We worked in our PBL groups and had to do a series of challenges and communicate and see if communicating helped us work or fail. The challenge I will be sharing with you is card pieces. Each group got a envelope full of cut up card pieces we layed them out on the ground and saw if we made a card. Then we had to communicate and make a plan to trade pieces for the piece we needed. Our group went ok we could've communicated a bit better, we kind just said "get this piece now" we didn't really work as a team. Over all it was a fun learning experience.

What is your favourite 6 C?

Math Week 5

Hello and welcome to my blog. ('m not sure why I haven't posted this yet) For maths our goal was Collect and display data on a scatter graph, Talk about distinctive features of scatter graphs. We had to collect data and then make a scatter graph about it. I rolled two diffrent size marbles down a ramp and made it bigger each time. I collected all my data and then put it into a scatter graph. Here is my finshed work:

Have you ever made a scatter graph?

Writing Week 5

Hello and welcome back to my blog. (I don't know why this hasn't posted) For writing we were  focusing on narrative writing. Our task was to use one of the four different images on Pobble 365 and write a narrative from there. I choose one about a mirror. So I wrote a narrative based on what I thought from looking at the picture. Here is the link to my short story:

Math task Week 4

Hello and welcome back. (I'm not sure why this didn't post ages ago) For maths our goal was Use more than one way to find a theoretical probability Make sensible statements about information with reference to supporting evidence. We had to use a spinning wheel and spin it 50ish times to see how many times it landed on each thing. We then had to write at least 3 clamis about the data. I also added a bar graph. Here is my task:

Math task Week 11

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week for maths we did something a bit diffrent. We worked in our homebases nd we had to complete 3 maths tasks. One was a must do and two were a can dos. The first task we had to fill out a worksheet about 3D shapes. The secend task I did was called open and shut. You had to predict what nets would make an open box. The final task was called cube creations. We had to get multi link cubes and make 6 diffrent shapes that made a cube. Then you had to draw them onto dot paper.
Here are the links to my tasks:
